Precious Art Created from the Heart: Fundraising to Support Breast Cancer Patients
The Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer (QSCBC) Foundation, in collaboration with Elizabeth Romhid, held an auction featuring two exquisite art pieces—the painting “Untold Story” and the bronze sculpture “Freedom”. The event aimed to raise funds to support projects under the foundation, which assists underprivileged women in the cruel battle against breast cancer.
The auction took place on February 27, 2025, at Pacific Club City. During the event, Dr Kris Chatamara emphasized the foundation’s commitment to being a refuge for women, raising awareness for breast cancer prevention, driving research and innovation in treatment, and ensuring comprehensive care for terminal breast cancer patients. The goal is to build trust and ease the feelings of loss experienced by women facing this disease.
The auction garnered significant interest from attendees, with the total bids reaching 2,100,000 THB. All proceeds will go toward supporting the foundation’s initiatives to help breast cancer patients in need.
