Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously bestowed the “Phra Phuttha Sirindhorn Theprat Mongkhol Phuwadol Santi” Buddha statue. Mrs. Tapana Raktiprakorn, Deputy Private Secretary to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, represented Her Royal Highness in presenting the sacred Buddha statue to King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society (Chulalongkorn Hospital), and the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer (QSCBC) at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society (Chulalongkorn Hospital). The ceremony was also attended by Associate Professor Dr Chanchai Sittipunt, Director of King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital, Associate Professor Dr Kris Chatamra, Head of the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer (QSCBC), along with the hospital’s executives, doctors, and nurses.

The Buddha image was bestowed to bring peace and tranquility, protect from disasters caused by the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind, and ensure the prosperity and stability of the land, the nation, religion, monarchy, as well as the people of Thailand and the world. The ceremony took place on February 6, 2025, on the first floor of the Bhumisiri Mangkhalanusorn Building.
