The Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer, a pioneering model for comprehensive breast cancer care, recently welcomed a delegation of nursing professionals from WMCUS School of Nursing and ITEKES Bali, Indonesia.

Dr Kris Chatamra, Director of the Queen Sirikit Centre for Breast Cancer, graciously received the visiting professors and nurses, providing them with a valuable opportunity to observe and learn from the Centre’s integrated approach. The programme included insights into medical and nursing operations across various departments, as well as the Centre’s unique psychosocial support for breast cancer patients, particularly through the “Friends Helping Friends” initiative. This exchange boarden the visitors’ knowledge and inspire new practices that could be adapted within their own institutions.
